Bee’s Friend – Phacelia tanacetifolia

Description

An annual native to the Southwest United States and Northern Mexico, and is sometimes referred to as lacy phacelia, blue tansy, or purple tansy. Plants grow to 12-24″ tall and have charming lavender-blue flowers. Grown as a cover crop, ornamentally, or alongside field edges and vineyards, and highly regarded for its ability to attract bees and other beneficial insects.
