Description

A self-seeding annual believed to be native to Southern Europe, and has been used medicinally for thousands of years. Calendulas are also referred to as Pot Marigolds, rubbles, or scotch marigolds. Introduced to gardeners in the 1930s, to celebrate the invention of the radio, this variety of calendula is now hard to find. Plants grow up to 18-24″ tall and produce beautiful orange flowers that look like kind of like little orange radio speakers. Plants bloom from early summer until the first hard frost. Great container variety.
