Chioggia Beet

Description

Named for a fishing town near Venice, this early 1800’s Italian heirloom favorite, is one of the most beautiful beets, with red and white concentric rings resembling a bull’s-eye. Just as delicious eaten fresh and pickled, as it is beautiful. Retains color pattern when baked whole and sliced before serving. Matures in 55 days.
