Dorinny Sweet Corn

Description

A wonderful early season sweet corn. A Canadian heirloom, crossed between Golden Bantam and Pickaninny, was long missing from the market, and reintroduced by Wood Prairie Farm. Dorinny Sweet is the receiver of the Market Gardeners’ Award of Merit in 1936. Produces 6-7” cobs. Vigorous plants reaching 4-5 feet in height. Two-three ears per plant. Grows well in cool climates, and is cold soil tolerant. Matures in 75 days.
