Echinacea – Tennessee Purle Coneflower

Description

An extremely rare native perennial, almost extinct in the wild. Was once federally listed as an endangered plant species. A beautiful plant in any and considered one of the best for attracting birds and butterflies. Plants grow to 3-4′ tall and have large beautiful pinkish-purple flowers, that bloom from July to September. Grows well in heavy dry soils and clay.
