Golden Hubbard Squash

Description

An classic heirloom squash originated from Painesville Ohio, and is widely considered an all time favorite. A squash with many names; Genesee Red Hubbard, Golden Warted Hubbard, and Red Hubbard. Produces tear shaped fruits that grow to 8-12 lbs and store well. Flesh is slightly warty,and the flesh is orange thick and sweet with a nutty flavor. Great for roasting and baking, as well as fall decoration. Matures in 90-100 days.
