Description

A refined strain of a pre-1900 heirloom, the “American Purple Top.” Produces round cream colored roots with purple tops. Very tasty, with a delicate mild and sweet flavor. A very uniform variety with great resistance to club root. Great for winter storage. A great Fall crop. Wonderful raw, cooked,  roasted, or mashed. Matures in 90-100 days.
