Lavender

This perennial is native to the western Mediterranean and is a member of the mint family. Greyish-green foliage and violet-blue flowers, are highly fragrant and used for cutting, drying, and the essential oils they produce. Plants grow 12-20″ tall. Hardy in zones 5-9.
