Lettuce Leaf Basil

Description

An annual sweet basil sometimes referred to as Large Leaved Italian. This basil dates back all the way to the 1800’s, where it was described in Vilmorin’s The Vegetable Garden. Plants grow to 18-24″ tall and have large crumpled leaves which resemble lettuce. Great classic basil flavor and taste, more mild than other sweet basils.
