Moon and Stars Watermelon

Description

An heirloom originally introduced in 1924 by Peter Henderson & Co of New York as “Sun, Moon and Stars.” These watermelons can grow to a massive 40 lbs. Dark green oval fruits are covered with small bright yellow “stars” speckles, and typically one larger “moon” spot. The leaves are also spotted yellow. The fruits have sweet pink flesh and large brown seeds. Matures in 90-100 days.
