Nasturtium – Black Velvet

A hardy annual native to South and Central America. Used as both an edible and a medicinal. All parts of the plant are edible. Produces stunning soft velvety radish-black flowers that remind us of theater curtains. Plants grow to 10-12″ tall. Great for containers. Flowers and leaves are added to salads to add flavor and color. a very versatile plant for the kitchen.
