Very popular in French markets, this heirloom is actually believed to be from Afghanistan. Round dark orange carrots, are wonderfully sweet with great flavor. Grows well in rocky and heavy soils. Low maintenance and easy to grow. Great for growing in containers. Coveted by gourmet restaurants and hugely popular at markets. Matures in 50-65 days.
