We certainly agree with Peter Henderson & Co., who in the late 1800’s introduced this stunning heirloom, when they claimed it was “The most beautiful celery that ever graced a table.”  Plants are compact, and produce an abundance of leaves and dark green and purple stalks, that are strikingly beautiful. Is wonderfully sweet and has an intense flavor.  Great for soups, eating fresh, and baking. A true heirloom gem. Biennial, Matures in 80-100 days.
