A perennial herb in zones 5-10, and an annual in more northern climates, sage is a classic herb used for many things including flavoring foods like meat and bean dishes. Native too the mediterranean, the plant has been naturalized all over the globe. Has a wonderful scent and is used in potpourri’s. Plants grow 18-24″ tall, and have attractive grayish-green leaves with elegant pale purple flowers.
