An annual sweet pea that dates back to the early 1700’s. Being the very first named sweet pea cultivar, this plant variety has a lot of history, and was even grown by Thomas Jefferson at Monticello. Plants grow to 6-8′ tall and produce bicolored, pink and white blossoms. Flowers are very fragrant. Heat tolerant. Warning: Sweet peas are poisonous.
