A French heirloom thought to be pre-1820’s. Closely related to the buttercup squash. Attractive fruits grow to an average of 5 pounds, and have bright orange skin with green and tan streaks. Beautiful as a decorative squash for fall displays. Flesh is thick, and mildly sweet. Matures in 85-100 days.
